ARA and ARC sign 2005 Cooperation Agreement
The Automotive Recyclers of Canada (ARC) signed a Cooperation Agreement with the Automotive Recyclers Association (ARA) in 2005 that lays the foundation for the two associations to work closely together on issues of joint concern, whether they are local, regional or global issues. The Associations have exchanged memberships in an effort to encourage cooperation, collaboration and the efficient exchange of information.
“The auto recycling industry, like the auto manufacturing industry, is increasingly becoming a global industry. Auto recyclers need to work together regardless of where they operate in the world. Solutions to more efficiently dismantle and recycle an automobile needs to be communicated quickly to all professional auto recyclers. Our relationship with ARA helps obtain crucial information quickly and to broadcast to the world the unique opportunities and issues arising out of North America,” said Ed MacDonald, 2005 Chair of ARC.
